App logo requirements
Recommendations to help your app logo look great in our app directory.
Follow these guidelines to ensure a beautiful logo in our app directory. These recommendations ensure that your logo displays as intended without appearing blurry or cut off.
- Save your logo in PNG format.
- Image dimensions should measure 1200px by 1200px.
- Prioritize a brand mark and avoid using text in your logo. If text is required, use large font sizes and limit letters to keep your logo legible.
- We will automatically apply rounded corners to your logo.
Logo with a transparent background
Leave plenty of padding around the edges of your logo to accommodate rounded corners that will be applied automatically. Your logo should not go edge-to-edge or corner-to-corner.
Logo with a color background
Allow the background color to touch all edges of your square logo. Keep the color between the edges and the graphic inside the square. Remove any additional padding around your logo.
If your logo is on a color background, allow the background to touch all edges in the square.
If your logo is on a transparent background, leave plenty of room for us to round the corners.
If your logo is on a transparent background, don't go to the corners.
If your logo is on a color background, don't round the corners (we'll do this for you).
